Flower Garlands in Glass

Flower garlands of handmade beads
crafted in Venetian glass.

Fascinated by glass beads since I was a child, I met my first glass bead maker while staying with friends in the USA. After one short lesson, I returned to England armed with a bag of tools, a rucsac full of glass and a book entitled ‘Everything You Ever Wanted to know About Beadmaking’.

I have been making them myself ever since.

I love the magical effect when heat meets glass and the challenge of controlling and shaping the results. What started as a hobby has now become a passion

When hot and flowing, glass has a life of its own with endless potential and possibilities. It is fragile yet decorative and durable. Each bead is unique and individually formed in the flame, each item of jewellery completely individual.
